#silence (Unwind Wednesday)

On Remembrance Day we take a moment of silence to honour and remember the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our great country during times of war, conflict and peace. This beautiful and solemn practice doesn't have to be reserved for a single day of the year. On a regular basis, pause for a few moments of silence and stillness to appreciate and honour those who create safety, security and freedom for you to be who you are. Safety is a basic need, and tending to that need, remembering and appreciating the ways in which you regularly experience it in your life, can help to calm stress and soothe anxiety.
